Ed is pictured with a few nice Spring Steelhead from the Muskegon River today.
Steelhead fishing on the Muskegon River is good considering the conditions, water level is very low and clear!! Most fish are coming in low light or shaded runs with the exception of some very aggressive chrome fish that eat anywhere anytime! There are good numbers of fish throughout the system new and old, although the new arrivals are generally more aggressive. Look for more new chrome Steelhead to show up from Lake Michigan soon, especially with rain. Backbouncing spawn is our top producer for Winter and early Spring Steelhead. We also fish floats and spawn.
March and April dates available for Muskegon River Spring Steelhead.
Now is the time to book your Spring Steelhead trips!!
Spring is just around the corner, March and April dates are filling up!!
