Today on the Water
Pictured is John and Ed with a few late season Steelhead from the Muskegon River .
Spring Steelhead 2010 is in the books after my last trip today!! We fought and scratched for each hookup today and ended up throwing body baits catching a few nice trout to fill in when we could not find any Steelhead to cast at. That being said, I am in full Alaska mode as we leave in 2 weeks!! My wife Natalie will be the assistant chef this summer and I of course will be attempting to pose as a guide for my 8th season in Alaska, (
not sure how I get away with that one
). This will be our first year at Mission Lodge, we are excited after hearing great things about their operation. Check back often throughout the summer for updates on what's happening in AK! Please e-mail with trip inquiries for fall Salmon and Steelhead and your patience is appreciated when waiting for a response, internet can be spotty in the bush.
